Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using NoReread (“the Platform”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Accounts

You must sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be 13 years or older to use the Platform.

3. Content

You retain ownership of flashcard decks and content you create. By publishing to the marketplace, you grant NoReread a non-exclusive license to display and distribute your content to buyers.

You must not upload content that infringes copyright, contains hate speech, or violates applicable law. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion.

4. Marketplace & Creator Terms

Revenue split: Creators receive 80% of each sale. NoReread retains 20% as a platform fee.

Payouts: Handled by Stripe Connect. Creators must complete Stripe's identity verification and tax form requirements (W-9 for US, W-8BEN for international).

Review process: All marketplace listings are reviewed before publication. We may reject or remove listings that do not meet quality standards or violate these terms.

Buyer access: Once a buyer purchases or redeems a code, their access to the deck persists even if the listing is later unpublished or removed. Access is only revoked on refund.

5. Refund Policy

Buyers may request a refund within 7 days of purchase. Refunds are processed automatically via Stripe. Upon refund, deck access is revoked.

Free deck acquisitions and code redemptions are not eligible for refund.

After 7 days, refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support.

6. Redeem Codes

Creators may generate codes granting access to their decks. Codes cannot be deleted once created — only deactivated. Deactivation prevents new redemptions but does not affect past redemptions.

All redemption records are permanently stored for audit purposes.

7. Data & Records

Purchase records, redemption records, and audit logs are immutable and permanently retained. They cannot be deleted by any party, including the Platform. This ensures transparency and dispute resolution for all participants.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You may not: automate purchases or redemptions, create fraudulent accounts, circumvent access controls, resell access obtained through codes, or reverse-engineer the Platform.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, existing buyer access to purchased decks is preserved.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided “as is.” We are not liable for loss of data, revenue, or indirect damages. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
