Commitment-based pricing: Reserved Instances discount specific instance types; Savings Plans give discounts (up to ~72%) in exchange for a committed spend over 1 or 3 years, offering more flexibility.

Three offer types: Always Free (e.g., Lambda monthly requests), 12 Months Free (e.g., limited EC2 and S3 for new accounts), and Trials (short-term free use of specific services).

A free web tool to estimate the cost of AWS services for a planned architecture before deployment, helping with budgeting and cost comparison.

A tool to visualize, understand, and forecast AWS spending over time, with filtering and grouping by service, account, or tag to identify cost trends and drivers.
